The Executive Team
Dana Fatic grew up in Slidell, Louisiana. She attended Nicholls State University, University of New Orleans and the University of Central Florida. Her experience and expertise is in community relations and governmental affairs. She has worked on numerous political campaigns as a campaign strategist and political analyst. She has worked on many community development projects such as the launch of the Camellia City Market, Slidell’s first true farmers’ market, where she was a board member. She has also served on the board of directors of Slidell Little Theatre. Due to her interest in the proliferation of live theatre in the Northshore region, she and two partners started their own theatrical production company, Cutting Edge Productions. In support of the farmers’ market, Slidell Little Theatre and Cutting Edge, Dana developed the organizations’ web presence through e-mail campaigns, e-newsletters, interactive web site design and social media blogging.
Jim Fatic is a Florida native. His undergraduate years were spent at the University of Florida and Western Carolina University where he studied Marketing. He later received an MBA degree from Tulane University. He spent nearly 15 years working at Walt Disney World (where he met his lovely wife, Dana). He held a variety of jobs in the Marketing division working with brand management, broadcast marketing (television and radio), promotions and marketing special events. He was a principle participant in the joint application development of Disney’s Marketing Event Tracking System (METS), a dynamic web-based database of mammoth proportions. He also oversaw the implementation of dozens of both in-state and domestic marketing programs including the 100 Years of Magic celebration, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the Grand Opening of Dinosaur! at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
